Perth Modern School
Year 11 student Rahul Jegatheva has won gold for Australia in the World Aquathlon Championships Under-19 division in Penticton in Canada and is now the World Champion. He came third out of all participants.  An aquathlon consists of a one-kilometre swim, followed by a five-kilometre run. Rahul was one of the youngest qualifiers in the Under-19 category and was the highest ranked Australian qualifier.
